us B. White Jr. became a partner in 1926, the first year a motorized hearse was acquired. Mr. Ranson died in 1944 and his interest was sold to his step-son, W.D. Bramham. The senior Mr. White died in 1947 and his interest was bought by his son, Gus Jr.
Oliver Gilliam was employed by the firm in 1949 and was later to become a stockholder and Vice President. The third generation of the family, Gus B. "Barry" White, III, joined the firm in 1955.
